Chris’ direct client experience includes working in outpatient private practice, school settings, in-home / Community therapy, adolescent intensive outpatient program, adult partial care program, psychiatric screening center and children crisis counseling.

Chris’ orientation to counseling is eclectic and based on cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic and humanistic theories. Chris employs a variety of cognitive-behavioral, Rogerian, and Gestalt techniques in counseling. His focus is to help clients gain insight into their concerns, gain an empowered sense of self, internalize a range of coping skills, and minimize negative influences. Chris believes in the mind-body connection, and he uses mindfulness techniques as a way of connecting differently to thoughts and emotions.

New Jersey Family’s 2018 listing was published in the December 2018 issue of New Jersey Family Magazine on their website NJFamily.com. It includes over 400 of New Jersey’s favorite pediatric doctors, dentists, speech/language therapists, psychotherapists and many other professionals, who are dedicated to helping kids live a healthy life. These professionals on the New Jersey Family list have all been nominated as “exceptional” by NJ moms and dads who voted on the NJ Family website.

In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Chris is also an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) in the State of New Jersey. Chris provides clinical supervision to Licensed Associate Counselor’s who are working towards becoming Licensed Therapists.
