Joe received his Master’s in Counseling from The College of New Jersey and is a licensed professional counselor. He has over fifteen years of experience and has worked with young children, teens, adults, and older adults.  Joe’s successful work with children, adolescents, and adults reflects his strong ability to understand and empathize with a wide range of presenting concerns. Joe’s clients find him to be warm, compassionate, comforting, non-judgmental, trustworthy, and encouraging. He focuses on a person-centered approach upon meeting with a new client. These qualities consist of authenticity, empathic understanding, nurturing, non-judgmental attitude, humor, and accountability.

Joe has a warm and generous personality.  His unique and genuine style of relating allows him to listen carefully to his clients.  Joe wants to understand his client’s personal strengths and resources as well as their challenges and difficulties.  He uses his skills and the tools in his “therapy toolkit” to help his clients experience the kinds of change, healing, and/or growth they are seeking.

During his free time, Joe loves to spend time with his family, spend time with his friends, and watch sports and movies.
